So nobody is allowed to say that money can't buy you friends. Did anybody even say that in the first place? Anyway, I have proof that you totally can buy friends.
This is the highest award for this kickstarter & to me it's saying, hey if you want to pay for a third of the goal for this project then we can hang out, and maybe even be bros.
Don't get me wrong. I LOVE the dude that is behind this kickstarter and I would definitely buy his friendship if I had an extra $10000.
I know it's cool to hate Justin Bieber, but remember when he was this pesky kid singing about love. Now he's weird. I love this song though.
EDIT:

There's no way of knowing that this is actually Justin Bieber posting. If it is though, he seems like somebody I could be bros with.
On the topic of guilty pleasures:
I certainly do not feel guilty for liking Justin Bieber's songs because I don't give a fuck. "Who cares?"
Reiterated by the Rock God Dave Grohl HERE. It's a speech he gave at SXSW and he is a brilliant man. I forget sometimes how much of a badass he is. He talks about guilty pleasure at about 40:00 in the video.
Way out on the ocean Far beyond the seven seas There's a tiny little boat Faith is keeping her afloat And a tiny little skipper with his worn and tattered coat You see the law of the ocean Says you shall never fail Use your heart as a rudder Faith as a compass And a blanket for a sail Sleep for the weary Dreams for us all Rest your head on a pillow And I'll tell you a tale Use your heart as a blanket And a blanket for a sail
I always loved hearing my mom sing this to me. She sang it in a really peaceful way that made me want to fall asleep, not in an omg this is so boring I'm falling asleep kind of way. She heard it from a CD of rock stars singing lullabies, but the guy who sings this doesn't sing it right. Only mom.
This was the first song that I consciously learned all the words to. I remember printing off the lyrics and listening to this song on repeat on my portable cd player. My parents were concerned because this song had somerisquésubject matter, but I honestly had no idea what Teb was talking about. I was like in the 4th grade or something. I just really liked how fast the lyrics were and I loved to annoy my parents with the do do do do do do do do's.
And yes, I still know all the words.
Battle of the Bands. Must've been my junior year. I don't know if one of the bands played this song or if I remember this song because AK listened to it a lot and some of his friends were in the battle of the bands thing and we went to watch them play. Either way.
I remember listening to the radio a lot as a kid. This song was on the radio constantly in the early 2000's. Alexander was pretty young. Less than 5. He used to always sing random stuff. Usually it was a song that he'd made up on his own. Sometimes though, he would sing this song. He would sing "B. O. B. O. Kids of the nation!" It was always really funny because I, being the highly intelligent older sister that I was, knew that he was totally butchering the lyrics. Also, he kept saying B.O. Body odor was hilarious when I was in elementary school. Good times.
Fun fact that I learned while researching the title of this song (it seems a lot of people thought it was kids of the nation), P.O.D. is a Christian metal band. Huh.
If I'm not careful, this whole thing is just going to be Walk the Moon songs. This song is the first song from the CD & it reminds me of the concert MJ & I went to. I had the best time at that concert.
They've started playing this song on Alt Nation all the time & it drives me crazy. I don't know what it is about it exactly, but I just can't get into it.
So one day I checked my email and I got one that said in the subject line [chantilly lace] New comment on clutch. I didn't even bother to look at the sender because automatically I was like "Yay! Rosh commented!" Turns out, it was a lovely blogger that found me through pinterest! She's really awesome & nice! Go to her, here. But then come back here and pay attention to this thing I'm doing.
She posted a 30 day song challenge in January/February and it looks really fun so I'm going to try. Also, she's from Ireland and there's "u's" in her "favorite's." I love that.
